Once upon a jazz club table in Florence

In the dim light of an underground jazz club in Florence, I could just make out this personal confession scrawled on a beer coaster. We laughed, and ordered two mojitos. Naturally, I brought confession home.

Copies of photos found online. Need to create an illustration of carrier pigeons for a blog about ancient forms of writing... Not the noblest of birds, but they sure are sturdy.
